Ex- squash pro championship serves off August 15

Over 50 athletes from different parts of the country and clubs will feature in this year’s edition of the ex- squash pro in diaspora squash tournament
The competition which holds at the squash courts of the Teslim Balogun stadium will be making a return after the 2022 edition failed to hold due to it’s date clashing with the national sports festival
The grassroots squash competition is bankrolled and organised by ex- squash players as part of efforts to develop the game in Nigeria
Chairman ex- squash pro in diaspora Friday odeh said all that is needed for a smooth running of the competition has been put in place.
He said they are excited about the event while looking forward to a better showing of all participants
” We have put in so much to ensure the participants have a nice time at the event, there are squash kits for exceptional talents who would be monitored and supported till stardom ” he said
The ex squash pro in diaspora squash championship started in 2017 in Lagos and has continued to serve as reservoir of talents for the elite cadre of squash in the country
The tournament will run from August 15th to 19th with accommodation and feeding in place for all participants
