The Tinubu Support Organization,TSO has approved the appointments of notable football administrators who will see to the identification of talents and raising of teams in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of 2026 national Tournament.
The Director of Football, Bashir Badawiy revealed to newsmen that the names of the Coordinators for the Six(6) Geo- Political Zones are influential individuals who are ready to drive the project.
Among the football aficionados are Lagos based football administrator, Mr Mojeed Adegbindin who will serve as Coordinator for the South-West region while Paul Ojo Omamomo is in charge of the South-South zone and Alhaji Abubakar Abubakar is saddled to coordinate the North East zone . Others are Solomon Babanjah for the North Central while Abahuraira Dahiru will serve as Coordinator for North West and the trio of Garba Lawal, Mutiu Adepoju (Head Master) and Victor Ikpeba will be the Ambassadors for the project
The appointments which take immediate effect, will see the Coordinators overseeing their various zones’ implementation, liaise with state football teams to raise a formidable team each for the Zonal eliminations competition en route to the national finals.
Additionally, the Coordinators shall organize coaching clinics, refereeing courses, and administrative workshops in their various zones to strengthen football management structure at local level, as well as leveraging sports as a medium for community outreach and civil participation.
The TSO Football Project is an avenue for talent discovery, promote social cohesion and deepen community engagement in collaboration with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu(GCFR).
Dates and venues for the Zonal play-offs and national finals shall be announced in due course.
