Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare gives out daughter in marriage

It was a gathering of the crème de la crème of  the society when the former Minister of Sports and Youth Development and presently  Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Sunday Dare gave out his daughter in marriage on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

The marriage ceremony between his daughter, Oloruntobi Esther  and her heart- throb, Oladipupo Timothy Olutade began with the traditional wedding held on Thursday, October 16, at Manhattan Events Centre, Jericho, Ibadan while  the nuptial cord was  tied  on Saturday at the Ikoyi Baptist Church, 5/7 Lateef Jakande Avenue, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Immediately after the Church wedding, all road led to Harbor Point, 4, Wilmot Point Road , Victoria, Island, Lagos for the  reception.

Speaking at the well attended reception, parents of the  bride, Chief Sunday and Mrs. Olukemi Dare while expressing gratitude to God for the successful  wedding advised the couple to love and trust one another as that’s the only way to build a successful Christian home.

“We’ re very excited being alive to give our daughter out in marriage and we must have to thank God Almighty for making the whole event  which began on Thursday in Ibadan hitch free.

“Our advice to the newly wedded couple is that they should make love and trust the cornerstone of their union because once there’s trust and love, they can surmount any problem.”

Dare while commending Nigerians from all works of life that attended the wedding prayed that God Almighty will bless the union with children, long life, good health and prosperity.

In their remarks, parents  of the groom, Pastor Olusina and Deaconess Yemisi Olutade reminded the couple that two is better than one and to always make the Bible their daily companion.

“Our advise to the newly wedded couple is that they should always do things in common because two is better than one and avoid third parties in their marriage but they should rather make the Bible their daily companion.”

“As they’re joined in Holy Matrimony today, our prayer is that God will bless their union with fruit of the womb, protect and guide them, give them good health, long life and prosperity.”

Also speaking, the Chairman of Nigeria National League ( NNL) who was one of the special guests, Mr. George Aluo expressed joy that the two young couple decided to leave their parents and be joined together as husband and wife, just as he advised them to emulate their parents in their marriage life.

Aluo reminded them that no marriage is 100% perfect but  their ability to tolerate and forgive one another will help them have a successful married life.
