Monarch donates patrol vehicle to Odogbo-Ijesa Police Post

In a bid to boost the security architecture of his domain, His Royal Highness, Olatunde Iginni JP has donated a patrol vehicle to the Odogbo-Ijesa community Police Post, located in the Atakumosa East local government area of Osun State.
It will recalled that the former Assistant Inspector General of Police, in-charge of zone 11 AIG Sikiru Kayode Akande commissioned the Police Post on Wednesday 24th May 2023 in order to better secure the community and improve its security situation.
While receiving the vehicle from the representatives of the donor, Alhaji Gani Akodu from Esiran family, the Officer- in-Charge of the Odogbo Ijesa Post Police Post, ASP Ayoola Adeyiga Solomon thanked Oba Oginni the MOJEJO 1 for his concern and care for the welfare of the officers and men of the Nigerian Police Force working in the community.
He promised to make good use of the operational vehicle, saying the car will go a long way in helping them to effectively secure the community; adding that their objective is keeping the people safe, enforcing laws and order, making sure the community is secured and forming good relations among officers and community members.
Speaking in the same vein the donor through his representative urged the Police authority to consider upgrading the Police Post to a Police Station; saying the community is capable of handling a Police Station even as he assured the authority good welfare of all the men and officers posted there.
