Veteran Sports Broadcaster Felix Awogu Buries Late Mum In April

The family of veteran sports broadcaster Owelle Felix Awogu, has announced burial arrangements for their late mother Madam Nnedinobi Regina Awogu, aged 90 years. 

Late madam Awogu who hailed from Ada Oko Anala, in Delta state, died peacefully in her sleep, on February 10th, 2026.

According to the release made public by Owelle Awogu, who is also, General manager and Head of Outside broadcast at Africa’s leading television station, SuperSport, the burial arrangements begins with a vigil mass at her residence on Thursday, April 16, and the burial mass holds Friday, April 17th  2026, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ossomala.

It also stated that the burial event would be a celebration of the life and times of their dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who lived a fullfiled and gracious life, to the benefits of God and humanity.
