National Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, ( NFSC) Ambassador (Rev). Samuel Ikpea has charged the Super Eagles to redeem its image by defeating Warriors of Zimbabwe to claim the important three points in the qualifying games for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ikpea, who recently led a large contingent of football fans to Uyo, for the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifications 1-1 draw opener against the Crocodiles of Lesotho, believes the Jose Peseiro’s tutored team is good enough to defeat Zimbabwe away from home.
“We respect and trust the potentials of this present Super Eagles to deliver at all times. Yes, they’re unlucky against Lesotho, but we believe they can defeat Zimbabwe and other teams to pick up the group’s ticket.”
“Beyond anything else, we urge the boys to go out there and redeem themselves, as one of Africa and world’s best teams,” Ikpea, the awards-winning football administrator remarked.
