1st Health Medical Service founder Morris Atula gets centre for rural development award

The Center for Rural Development and Community Transformation (CERUDECT) a community based non governmental organization has presented an award of excellence to the founder of Ist Medical Service, Morris Atula in appreciation of his efforts to solve the medical needs of the people through his organization.
The award was recieved on his behalf by Mrs. Uzoamaka Obiaku, the Project Manager of the organisation and her Project Administrator, John Atula.
After the award presentation, the team
visited identified health facilities within the Ijegun community such as Adekad Medical Laboratory; Fountain Hospital; So-Fine Clinic, Lab and Scan; Diagnostic center and Felina Healthcare center all along Ijegun- Ikotun road where appointments were booked to meet with senior Doctors at those centers who were not available to discuss with at a later date.
The Project Director of the health care Service provider, Julius Atula said that the management of the organization will work with all stakeholders to achieve the project’s objective.
‘’We are aware that most Nigerian are religious. They believe prayers alone will heal them and not until their sickness is very serious before they will seek medical help and that’s why we’re going to the grassroots to ensure people get good medical care and counseling about their health just as we need the corporation of the clergy to make the project a success.
According to Morris Atula the founder of the health service care; Nigeria’s highest quality health care service provider based in Ijegun, Lagos under the auspices of the Pa J.B. Atula Charity Foundation was established with the aim of contributing back to the health needs of the people.
“At 1st Health Medical Service, our subscribers register with clinics within our area of jurisdiction to ensure regular check ups. We also ensure that our subscribers get their prescribed medications from nominated Pharmacies and undergo periodic random check /tests to avoid preventable illnesses and diseases; “We also ensure they have regular and easy access to registered Clinics within very short time; seeing to the up to date medical records of our subscribers stored with our nominated Doctors; linking up with clinics for easy access to other health agencies and other personal uses as well as facilitating urgent and necessary attention and treatment whenever it’s required by our subscribers and also doing follow ups by our staff to ensure full recovery or better outcome and supply relevant information to our subscribers who may need more urgent and specialist attention to hospitals where they can get the best treatment at minimal cost.
