West Africa Para Games: Team Nigeria Continue To Dominate Medals Table

Team Nigeria Para athletes have continued their dominance of the ongoing maiden West Africa Para Games in Abeokuta, Ogun State, winning more medals after Tuesdays event.
Nigeria is currently topping the medals table with a total of 59 medals made up of 28 gold, 20 silver and 11 bronze. They’re closely followed by Benin Republic with 13 medals, comprising of 3 gold, 2 silver and 8 bronze while Ghana is third on the log with 2 gold, 7 silver and 13 bronze.
On the forth position is Cameroon with 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze with Cote d’Ivoire occupying the fifth position with 1 gold while Cape Verde and Niger Republic are on the sixth and seventh positions with 4 silver, 3 bronze and 2 silver, 1 bronze respectively.
Liberia and Togo are yet to record any medal.
With the performance of Team Nigeria, emerging champions of the championship is a foregone conclusion as they’re expected to amass more medals today to widen their medal haul.
