While Warri Wolves FC has no structure, Rangers International FC is a model for professional clubs in Nigeria

Rangers International FC of Enugu Stands out as the Best organised Professional Football Club in Nigeria, Built on a solid management and administrative Structure over the years.
Founded after the Nigeria Civil War in 1970 the club is administered by Rangers Management Corporation an independent entity incorporated by the Corporate affairs Commission.
Rangers International is always noted for going in search of the Best hands to manage its affairs, the immediate past General Manager, Davidson Owumi was a former Captain of the Club: an astute football administrator who propelled the club as a model for professional clubs in Nigeria.
Amobi Ezeaku Esq. the current GM of the club is a thorough bred emerging football administrator who certainly will be one of the best in the country in the near future. He is a sound product of the Rangers management team who diligently rose through the ranks.
A visit to Rangers Office located at Abakaliki Road GRA Enugu and their camp at Independence layout indicates that with the right funding the club has come to stay as the symbol of the Igbo race.
While Warri Wolves FC founded in the early 1960’S and the home of great Ex-Internationals like Patrick Nokuapkor, Titus Okere, Daniel Okwudili, Ebiyon Dediare, Martins Bumeye, Morton Owolo, Jossy Dombraye, Mike Okotie, Paul Obire, Clement Temile,Sam Okpodu, Francis Monidafe, Mark Anunobi, Prince Afejuku, Samson Ozogula, Christian Obodo, The kator brothers, Franklyn Howard, Edema Fuludu, Victor Ikpeba, Edema Benson, Ken Nwomucha, Steven Cole, Friday Oteri, Sam Sodje, Mike Obiku and others.
Warri Wolves is more than a Football club. its an Institution that binds the entire state of different ethnic nationalities together. Our amiable Governor, His Excellency RT.HON. Sheriff Oborevwori Should note that Warri Wolves FC has no Structure since the advent of the 4th Republic through Ex-Governors Ibori, Uduaghan and Okowa.
Inspite of the huge funds appropriated annually by the state house of Assembly in the past 24 years, Those funds were allegedly diverted into private pockets especially in the last 16 years of the appointment of Brother in-law and Brother as Chairmen of the Delta State Sports Commission.
There is nothing on ground to show for the huge investment in Warri Wolves over the years, No office, No befitting Camping accommodation for players. the players are poorly paid and the club is currently disgracefully languishing in the lower division of the NNL for the past four years.
Your Excellency must urgently focus on this crucial Institution that binds the entire state by creating the enabling environment for the revival of Warri Wolves.
The last eight years was the clubs worst experience, it was deliberately starved of funds and systematically killed.
If Abia State can sustain two Premier league clubs, then Delta State can do better. The time to revive and reposition Warri Wolves is now. Any administration that abandons Warri Wolves FC as a common heritage is insensitive to the emotions of all Deltans.
