Below is the statement he released…

“I wish to express my profound appreciation to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the Nigeria National League (NNL) Board, and the Nigerian Football Referees Association for their collective efforts in ensuring a level playing field at the ongoing 2025 NNL Super 8.

The standard of officiating witnessed after the first round of matches across both the Northern and Southern Conferences has been impressive, reflecting fairness, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the integrity of the game.

As the tournament progresses, I strongly urge all stakeholders to remain resolute and resist any pressure from desperate racketeers who may seek to hijack or influence the outcome of the competition. The credibility and future of the League depend on continued transparency and impartiality.

Once again, I commend the NFF, NNL Board, and the Referees Association for their dedication to preserving the core values of Nigerian football.”
