Nigerian Pro Wrestling talents set for Xmas Eve Agulumania 2025 Showdown

Nigerian professional wrestlers are now set to storm Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State for the much talked about wrestling showdown tagged ‘ Agulumania’ 2025, slated for Wednesday, December, 24 in the town.

The championship which is being organized by Big C Real Estate and Properties and sanctioned by the Nigeria Pro- wrestling Federation, will hold at Amb. Joachim Aforjama’s compound at Ukunu Village, Agulu.

According to the sanctioning body, highly rated mats men such as Major Ariba, Mighty Progress, Zion Lion, Captain Dunga and De Executioner will be on parade to showcase the best wrestling style, gimmick and acrobatic display to the fans.
They also announced that two highly rated female wrestlers, Stylish J and Jena Swift who have conquered the game both at the national and continental level will also slug it out on that day.

Speaking on his expectations for the fights, the sponsor, Amb. Joachim Aforjama who doubles as a patron of Nigeria Pro- Wrestling Federation noted that he want to use the Christmas season and showcase the best of wrestling talents to his community, thereby encouraging some youths to take to the sports because Agulu in the past has been noted as a town that produces wrestling warriors.

“This is my little way of promoting professional wrestling in the country. You’re aware that in the past, Agulu is known as home of warriors and even before the coming of Europeans, the town boosts of talented wrestlers.

“So, this is an opportunity to make Agulu and other neigbouring towns in Anaocha, Aguata, Awka South and Njikoka Local Government Areas have a feel of professional wrestling at their door steps”, he stated.
Also speaking, the Director of Publicity and Promotions, Nigeria Pro-Wrestling Federation, who also doubles as Secretary
General of Pro- wrestling Africa, Olusesan Olukoya while assuring that all logistics have been put in place for the championship, promised that there’ll be no dull moment throughout the duration of the fights even as he appealed to fans to troop out in their numbers and be part of the show.

” We at the Federation have concluded every arrangement for a hitch free fight. The wrestlers were carefully selected and will give their best to the fans and I urge everyone not to miss it because it will be action packed”, he assured.

In his remarks, national wrestling coach, Elephando Bassey said that he has been training the wrestlers for the past one month and they’re physically, mentally and psychologically ready for the showdown.
” My wrestlers are ready to go. I have been working on them at both the training ring and gym and from my assessment, all of them are ready to showcase their talents”, he stated, beaming with confidence.
