14 Days to Go: Nigeria’s 3×3 Basketball Team Camps in Amsterdam for Final Preparations Ahead of Commonwealth Games

With 14 days until the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, Nigeria’s 3×3 Basketball Team is fine-tuning preparations at their foreign camp in the city of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

D’Tigers star Ike Nwamu will lead the team as they gear up for the Games, with two international friendly matches scheduled in Amsterdam before the squad departs for Glasgow.

Meanwhile, several of Nigeria’s foreign-based athletics stars are also set to arrive in the United Kingdom in the coming days as final preparations intensify.

Among those expected are Kanyinsola Ajayi, Tobi Amusan, Samuel Ogazi, Ezekiel Nathaniel, and other members of Team Nigeria.

Over 75 athletes have been sweating out at the team’s camp in Aberdeen before final travel to Glasgow for the Opening ceremony in two weeks.
