2026 NLO: “Lost ground Well Recovered”,Coach Farouk Yusuf Reacts after 2-0 Victory over M&N FC

As the momentum gathers for the 2026 Nationwide League One (NLO1) season table-toppers across different centres, Best Talent FC of Mowe made a resounding statement with a 2-0 win over M&N FC at MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun state. Saturday.

It was a goalless situation at half time as the two sides went neck to neck but Mathew broke the deadlock at 51 minutes of play only to get a brace at 71′ for the Integrity side.

Addressing journalists during a post match reaction, Coach Farouk, who has become a prominent figure in grassroots football, was full of praise to his team’s performance but made it clear that there’s much more to cover if the team will achieve the target.

“Big kudos to my boys fpr reacting well today. The victory is a cover up for the match day 3 howler. I think we need to do more if we want to achieve our set target.” he said unapologetically. “What you witnessed today is only a glimpse of what we are working towards”

In other development, Adeyinka Adeyemo’s boys have also qualified for the Quarter finals of the Redemption City Cup after awarded 3-0 walk over against Harmony F.A due to their inability to appear for the game.

Farouk, whose coaching résumé includes stints with Magate FC, Fackson Tofido, and Coca-Cola Junior School, is currently on unbeaten runs in the present season, winning 3 and drawing one game.

His tactical acumen was on full display, and he credited both his players and the club’s management for the continued success.

Farouk also praised the club’s leadership and support staff, emphasizing the importance of teamwork both on and off the pitch.
