2026 NLO Redemption City Tourney: Best Talent FC Sets Trap For Raymond FC, Rhema Chapel in Ogun State

Best Talent FC have opened their 2026 Nationwide League One (NLO) season strongly, maintaining unbeaten fashion in the last three encounters. The team will today , 9th May, 2026 lock horns against Rhema FC at the Redemption City Arena by 12:30pm, while tomorrow, Sunday, 10th May, 2026, the attention will be shifted to the ongoing Nationwide League one against FC Rhema at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Setting the record straight, the Adeyinka Adeyemo’s boys have been dominating the two competitions with winning streak over Bajulaye FC and Patriot FC in early May 2026.
This followed an initial 7-0 victory against H2U FC . The team will now set sights on another commanding statement in the much anticipated double header this weekend.
The team maintained high momentum as they were scheduled for a high-stakes clash this weekend against the two teams.
The results no doubt will give a direction to where the team belongs as the Farouk Yusuf tutored lads are pushing for a top spot in the nation third tier league, aiming to secure a promotion ticket to the Nigeria National League (NNL), having been a team recognized as a strong competitor in local tournaments.
It would be recalled that the Best Talent football club was crowned champions of the 2025 Redemption City Football Tournament and the 2024 Green Lock FC Summer Tournament.
Addressing journalists on Friday evening, the former Coca-Cola Coach emphasized his usual humility trait, appreciating the Almighty God and then calling on fans to rally round the team with a view to consolidating on their victories
“I think the tie against FC Raymond tomorrow in the ongoing Nationwide League will be a Titanic clash going by their fighting spirit and their previous performance.
“But, what I expect from my boys is to use the match against Rhema FC in Redemption City tourney taking place today at the Redemption City to provide valuable opportunities to assess their strengths and weaknesses with a view to fine-tuning grew areas ahead of the league clash.”

“We have built high momentum at the previous encounter, big thanks to my Chairman, Mr Adeyinka Adeyemo, and the entire management team. This can not be done in isolation. My technical crew are very supportive, just like the media and our teeming fans.
“We need you to continue supporting us and get desired victories in the two games coming up this weekend. My boys are mentally and physically ready for the challenges ahead and we pray for good outing”. He concluded.
The game against Rhema FC will hold today , Saturday by 12:30pm at Redemption City Arena, while the Nationwide League One clash against FC Raymond is set to take place at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State at 2pm.
