4+4 Solidarity Forum Congratulates NFF President Ibrahim Gusau on Blueprint Award Nomination

Members of the 4+4 Solidarity Forum have congratulated the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, on his nomination for an award by the management of Blueprint Newspapers Publishing Limited.
The prestigious recognition is part of the media organisation’s annual awards ceremony, which is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
According to the organisers, Gusau, who also serves as President of the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B) and a member of the FIFA Men’s Club Competitions Committee, is among distinguished Nigerians selected for honours in recognition of their outstanding contributions in their respective fields.
In a congratulatory message, members of the 4+4 Solidarity Forum described the nomination as a well-deserved recognition of Gusau’s leadership and commitment to the growth of football in Nigeria, West Africa and beyond.
The Forum noted that since assuming office as NFF President, Gusau has continued to champion initiatives aimed at strengthening football administration, promoting grassroots development and enhancing Nigeria’s standing in continental and global football.
The group also commended his contributions to football governance through his leadership of WAFU B and his role on the FIFA Men’s Club Competitions Committee, describing the award nomination as a reflection of his dedication and growing influence within the international football community.
The Forum wished the NFF President continued success in his service to Nigerian football and expressed confidence that he would continue to deliver purposeful leadership that would further elevate the country’s football fortunes.
The Blueprint Newspapers annual awards ceremony is expected to attract top government officials, business leaders, sports administrators and other eminent personalities from across the country to celebrate excellence and outstanding service in various sectors.
