. Says our Diversity Remains Our Strength And Together, We Can Build The Nigeria We Desire

As Nigeria marks her 66th Independence Anniversary, the Secretary General of Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), Olusesan Olukoya, has extended warm greetings to Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora, describing the occasion as a time to celebrate the nation’s journey, resilience and potential.

In his Independence Day message, Olukoya called on Nigerians to continue believing in the future of the country while contributing positively to national development.

He said Nigeria’s independence is not merely a historical milestone but also a reminder of the responsibility of every citizen to contribute to building a stronger and more united nation.

“Independence Day gives us an opportunity to reflect on our journey as a nation, appreciate our achievements and renew our commitment to the Nigeria we want to build,” Olukoya said.

According to him, Nigeria’s greatest asset remains its people, particularly the creativity, determination and resilience of its young population.

Olukoya, who has been involved in promoting professional wrestling and sports development across Africa, emphasized the role of sports and youth development in bringing Nigerians together and creating opportunities for young people.

He noted that Nigerian athletes and sports professionals continue to demonstrate that the country has enormous talent capable of making an impact both nationally and internationally.

The PWA Secretary General urged Nigerians to embrace peace, unity, tolerance and mutual respect irrespective of ethnic, religious or regional differences.

“Nigeria belongs to all of us. Our diversity should be a source of strength, not division. We must continue to promote peace, respect one another and work together for the progress of our country,” he stated.

Olukoya also encouraged young Nigerians to pursue their dreams, develop their talents and become active contributors to national development.

He stressed that the future of Nigeria depends significantly on the willingness of citizens, especially young people, to turn their abilities and ideas into meaningful contributions to society.

As the green-white-green flag flies across the country, Olukoya called on Nigerians to celebrate the nation while remaining committed to building a better future.

“Let us celebrate Nigeria with hope, patriotism and renewed determination. May our nation continue to grow in peace, prosperity and unity, and may the dreams of Nigerians at home and abroad continue to find expression.”

He concluded by wishing Nigerians a Happy 66th Independence Anniversary, praying for peace, progress and greater opportunities for all.
