ANFPU set to visit Chukwu, others

The All Nigeria Football Players Union (ANFPU) has resolved to embark on humanitarian visit to some critical stakeholders of the round leather game in the country.
ANFPU stated in a communique issued after its meeting in Lagos on January 10 that the likes of Christian Chukwu, Emmanuel Okala and Sunday Eboigbe are top on the list of those to be reached out to.
The nation’s apex players union also passed a vote of confidence on its executive as well as the BOT chairman, Chikelue Iloenyosi.

A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING (OGM) OF ALL NIGERIAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS UNION (ANFPU), HELD ON JANUARY 10TH, 2022 AT EKO HOTELS & SUITES IN VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS
Rising from the robust deliberations amongst its members from the OGM that lasted for several hours, the following resolutions were reached:
1. That unalloyed approbation is hereby passed on the Executives of ANFPU as currently constituted, especially the tenacious and exemplary leadership of the BOT, Chairman.
2. That the anomalous peace and tranquility that exists within the football stakeholders should be built upon by all and sundry which is one of the cardinal objectives of ANFPU moving forward.
3. That pursuant to item No. 2, above, that ANFPU has resolved to reach out to all aggrieved stakeholders so as to ensure a fruitful 2022 and beyond considering the enormous challenges, notably the need to build capacity with the corporate world for the benefit of its teeming members.
4. That a “Peace and Reconciliation Committee” would be set up in no distant time to wade through the concerns of members and hopefully reach a lasting solution.
5. That the All Nigerian Football Players Union (ANFPU) is determined to build a structure that will be sustainable and to instill a very transparent administration.
6. That an extensive consultation is ongoing at this time intended to bring on board capable and credible individuals that are to pilot the affairs of the Union at the State levels.
7. That ANFPU is scheduled to embark on a nationwide humanitarian and courtesy visits to some critical stakeholders beginning with these respectable giants of the game, Christian Chukwu, Emmanuel Okala, Sunday Eboigbe, etc. as we kick start our program for the year.
