Mathew Nwogu wins Ngor/Okpala-Aboh Mbaise Federal Constituency

Labour Party’s Dr Mathew Nwogu has emerged winner of the Ngor/Okpala-Aboh Mbaise Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election.

INEC declared him winner after polling 19,813 votes. PDP got 15,400 votes while APC secured 8,234 votes in the keenly contested election.

Youth of the area went wild in jubilation after he (Dr Nwogu) was declared winner insisting that it was victory for democracy.

Earlier reports coming out of the area had indicated that there were moves to manipulate the results which the youths resisted urging INEC to declare the results.

Mathew Nwogu while basking in the euphoria of the victory said it was a victory for the people especially the youths who stood by him.
