Ahead Nigeria/ Guinea Bissau clash: Elahor berates Eagles manager over Ahmed Musa

Ex International, Friday Elahor has berated Super Eagles manager, Jose Peseiro over the invitation of Ahmed Musa for the 2023 Nations Cup qualifier double header against Guinea Bissau.

Elahor who spoke on Sports Round Up, a Sportsville radio show on Ray Power wondered if the aging Super Eagles captain who many now see as a non playing captain is irreplaceable.

“I wonder why Peseiro is calling up Musa. Is he telling us that there are no wingers that can step into Ahmed Musa’s position. Is he ( Musa) now irreplaceable in the national team?” Elahor queried.

Elahor however commended the coach for calling up two Flying Eagles players for the encounter pointing out that it is a good development.

It would be noted that Peseiro yesterday released his 23 man squad for the qualifier which comes up later this month with the Eagles playing the first leg at home at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
