Aisha Bala Mohammed U-15 boys football tournament holds December 16

The 2nd edition. of the annual Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed football tournament being organised by Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) will take place from December 16-22 , 2023 in Bauchi, the Bauchi State Capital.
In a press release announcing the tournament sponsored by the Bauchi State First Lady, National Secretary of YSFON, Patrick Okpavuerhe explained that the championship had to take the date of the earlier scheduled  Chief of Naval Staff/ Nigerian Navy Officers Wives  Association championship after the Chief of Naval Staff directed that the tournament should be moved forward to January next year.
The statement advised  teams wishing to participate in the tournament to inform the National Secretariat of the body as soon as possible just as it reminded them  that each team will be made of 20  players who must be strictly under the age of 15 years as at December 30  this year with body weight of 55kg and height of 1.62m to be accompanied by three officials, one of whom must be a YSFON official.
The statement further noted that  teams arrival date is December, 16th,and on arrival, a member of the National Working Committee of the Federation and Bauchi State YSFON officials will be on ground to welcome them.
According to the Federation’s scribe, accommodation shall be provided for all participating teams and officials at school hostels while screening of players shall commence on December, 17th by 7 am.
