Ebi Egbe congratulates Elegbeleye on honour bestowed on him in Benin
The Chief Executive Officer of Monimichelle Sports Facility Construction Limited, Ebi Egbe has congratulated NPFL Chairman, Hon. Ggbenga Elegbeleye on the honour bestowed on him in Benin City, describing it as well deserved.
Elegbeleye was on Sunday, March, 3, 2024 during the NPFL U-17 Youth championship honoured by Benin Chiefs for his leadership qualities which has turned around the fortune of Nigeria’s Professional Football League.
Speaking on the recognition, Egbe noted that no honour is too much for the one time Director General of the National Sports Commission considering the role he has played in repositioning the Nigerian league which hitherto was not taken serious by football fans and stakeholders.
“I was highly excited when I heard that Hon. Elegbeleye was honoured by the highly reserved Chiefs of Benin.
“The honour did not come to me as a surprise considering his achievement since taking over the mantle of leadership of the NPFL and I want to say a very big congratulations to him for the well deserved honour.
Egbe charged Elegbeleye to continue with his good work even as he expressed hope that more honours will be bestowed on him in future.
