Chairman of Edo State Sports Commission, Barrister Godwin Dudu-Orumen who is still basking in the euphoria of Gov Godwin Obaseki’s victory, for the first time since after the September 19 electoral victory did not sleep well last night, no thanks to the Eagles and their shambolic performance under Gernot Rohr.
Dudu as admirers call him told newstap.com.ng this morning that Nigeria has got a coach who has nothing to offer insisting that the man if anything should be working in Nigeria’s national orientation agency as a mobilizer.
In his words…”Rohr is a poor coach. He has nothing more to offer Nigeria beyond sensitizing young footballers of Nigerian heritage to come play for the Super Eagles. After that he draws blank. He should be fired.”
It would be noted that the Edo sports commission boss is one of those who opposed the NFF decision to re new the contract of the 67-year old Franco German tactician.
Algeria, the reigning African champions defeated the Eagles by a lone goal in the semi final on their way to winning the AFCON last year in Egypt.
