Iloenyosi congratulates CP Umar on his Man of the Year award

Ex international, Chikelue Iloenyosi has congratulated CP Umar on the honour recently bestowed on him by Country Crime Magazine as the publication’s man of the year.

Iloenyosi in a statement made available to newstap.com.ng described the Interpol boss as a vibrant and cerebral police officer who deserves the award.

“CP Umar is a vibrant and cerebral police officer who is diligently serving the country. The honour bestowed on him by Country Crime Magazine is not coming to me as a surprise. I congratulate him and urge him to see the award as a challenge to do even better in the service of our fatherland.”

Iloenyosi noted that Umar is a sports friendly officer that has also used his position to lift Nigerian sports, especially football.

“I wish him more success and God’s guidance as he continues to discharge his duties…”

It would be noted that Umar, who is very passionate about football has been involved with the development of the game in the country and he is also a close ally of the nation’s ex internationals.
