PWA, AIWF congratulate FECACATCH on new pro wrestling season in Cameroon

Opening of the National Sports Season of the FECACATCH, the goal being to prepare athletes to represent Cameroon effectively at the international competitions planned abroad for the 2026 sports edition.

Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA) and Allied Independent Wrestling Federation, NC, USA (AIWF) have congratulated the Cameroon Pro Wrestling Federation (FECACATCH) for the opening of it’s 2026 national sports season.

FECACATCH on Saturday, February, 21, 2026, opened its new season with the goal of preparing athletes that will represent the Central African country effectively at international competitions planned abroad for the 2026 sports season.

At the ceremony, President of the body, Commodore Emmanuel Ndo used the opportunity to appoint the heads of the technical bureau such as; Talla Cédric (Kirikou) as the national coach, Simen Guy (Black Tiger) as the National Technical Director, and Kana Hypolite appointed as assistant national coach.

They were later instructed to further enhance youth training, in order to advance professional wrestling in the country.

In their congratulatory message signed by the Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Africa, Olusesan Olukoya, on behalf of PWA and AIWF based in the United States, both bodies noted that they’re proud of the new policies of FECACATCH President aimed at promoting professional wrestling at the national level in Cameroon even as charged the newly appointed officers to discharge their duties creditably.

“We at Pro Wrestling Africa and the world body, Allied Wrestling Federation received the news of your activities with gladness. We are equally happy with the steps President Ndo is taking to move wrestling forward in Cameroon and we say a big congratulations to the entire Cameroon Wrestling family.

“It’s equally important we charge the newly appointed technical officers to carry out their work with dignity, honour and bring their wealth of experience in bringing out the best in the wrestlers under their care”, concluded the statement.

We at the African Confederation (PWA) and the world body AIWF based in NC, USA are indeed proud of the newly policies of the President of FECACATCH to promote pro wrestling at the national level as well as the newly nominated officers into offices. We encourage the officers to do their best as the National Coach, National Technical Director and Assistant National Coach. Congratulations to the entire FECACATCH team and the nominated officers.
