Manchester United was again devastated on a night they remembered the 1958 Munich disaster as they were forced to a 3-3 draw by Everton in a match they led 2-0 at half time.
The boys of Carlo Anceloti came out smoking in the second half and scored two goals in three minutes to bring scores at 2-2.
Scot MC Tominay restored Man U’s lead with a header in the 70th minute. But at the point when everybody thought Man U would manage a win, disaster struck as Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck from close range. The goal came from the very last kick of the game deep in extra time ( 95th minute).
Calvert-Lewin said a change of tactics in the second half with the introduction of Alex Iwobi, Gylsi Sigurdson and Joshua King brought out the best of Everton.
