Ahead Tokyo 2020: Dare commends CBN gov for showing special interest in Team Nigeria

Sports minister, Chief Sunday Dare has commended the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Mr Godwin Emefiele for his support for Team Nigeria ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Dare who spoke when Emefiele paid him a courtesy call on Friday ostensibly to wish Nigeria well at the world biggest sports fiesta noted that the CBN governor has shown special interest in the team, even as he assured him that the nation’s athletes would not disappoint.

Dare presented Emefiele with Team Nigeria’s Tokyo 2020 outfit declaring that the nation’s athletes are good to go.

“We will come back home God willing with medals to show for your support,” Dare told the CBN governor.
