President Federation Cup: Ahudiyannem Queens go goalwire, thrash opponent 5-0 in Round of 32

NWFL side, Ahudiyannem Queens of Abriba, Abia State today announced their readiness to challenge for the women Federation President Cup title when they white washed their opponents Moje Queens 5-0 in the round of 32 of the competition decided in Asaba, the Delta State capital.

The team which has been posting impressive results since the appointment of Coach Adanna Gloria Nwaneri were at their best in the match they dominated from the beginning to the end.

Speaking after the match an excited Nwaneri said that she’s happy that her girls played to instruction, noting that they’ll leave nothing to chance in their bid to lift the trophy.

“I’m highly excited with the performance of my team. The players showed resilience and played to instruction which gave us the massive victory.

“I must also thank our President Chief Dr. Robert Onyeani for his moral and financial support which has helped the team achieve success.

“Although we won this game with a wide margin, but that does not mean we’re going to allow overconfidence affect us in our round of 16 match because our ultimate goal is to lift the trophy”, she said

Meanwhile, President bmof Ahudiyannem Queens, Chief Dr. Robert Onyeani has congratulated the team for recording a massive win in their round of 32 game just as he charged the players not to relent in their efforts until they lift the trophy.

Dr. Onyeani, known for his massive financial support to the team promised that he will continue to encourage the team financially and make it the best women football team in the country
