President Tinubu’s SSA on sports, Adeboye to storm Owerri for NNL AGM, commends Gov. Uzodimma, Aluo


The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Prince Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka,has announced that he will be in Owerri on Friday to attend the Annual General Meeting of Nigeria National League ( NNL).
The AGM which will hold at the Prestigious Rock view Hotel, near Government House, Owerri will be declared open by the Executive Governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodimma and will have in attendance, the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau and other top echelons of Nigerian football.
According to Adeboye who is the President of NNL side, Smart City FC his decision to be part of the AGM is in solidarity with the good work done by the present board which has changed the narratives of the second tier league.
“I want to tell you that I will be in Owerri on Friday to attend NNL AGM in support of what the present board under the able leadership of Mr. George Aluo has done to reposition the league.
“You’re aware that because of the innovations brought to the league, it has now attracted sponsors and getting commendations from all football stakeholders and I believe that they’re going to consolidate on the successes recorded so far and move the most important league in the country to a greater pedestal in the new season.”
Adeboye while commending the sports loving governor of Imo State for accepting to host the AGM, praised the NNL chairman, George Aluo for the good work he’s doing in moving the league forward.
