By George Aluo

Enyimba chairman, Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu has given a thumbs up to Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu for providing a chartered flight to the team for their trip to Libya where they would face Alli Benghazi in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Anyansi who is on cloud nine over the development in a thank you message to the governor said the club would remain eternally grateful to him.

In Anyansi’s words…”words are not enough to express the depth of our gratitude for the news we have just received that you have arranged a chartered flight for us to be in Libya. May the Good Lord reward you infinitely sir for all you have done for Enyimba…God bless you a million times more for your support…you have denied the enemies from having a last laugh and we rejoice in this symbolic victory…once more thank you for what is truly a miracle…our hearts are joyful and we pray sincerely that you too get all the miracles that will leave you and your family as speechless as we are.”

Enyimba are now billed to depart Lagos Wednesday morning in time for the game which by Caf’s calendar is slated for same Wednesday. But there are strong indications that the African soccer governing body may move the tie forward by 24 hours.

Enyimba were on the verge of being walked over by Benghazi but for the last minute intervention of Ikpeazu.
