Falode gets thumbs up on club managers’ seminar

The NWFL Club Owners’ Chairmen/Team Managers Association has expressed warm gratitude to the leadership of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) under Aisha Falode for the impactful seminar put forth for the NWFL club managers.

The NWFL mid-term season seminar tagged, ‘The NWFL Level-Up Seminar & Training, Club Managers’ Edition took place on Friday, February 18 at the Asia/America Hall, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Mr. Ivan Bayiga Kintu, a CAF Instructor & Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) Club Licensing Manager and FIFA Beach Soccer referee first took the NWFL club managers on Introduction of Club Licensing – A Tool for Club Development, and the second was on Club Administration & Management while the last session was on Players’ Status, Contracts & Transfers.

The NWFL Club Owners’ chairman, Matilda Otuene-Onyiloha thanked heartily the Aisha Falode-led NWFL describing the seminar as impactful, incisive and thorough.

“We want to specially appreciate the leadership of the NWFL under Aisha Falode for the five-star seminar for the NWFL club managers.

“The topics discussed at the seminar were apt and timely and we have been further enriched on the intricacies and modern approach to administering our respective clubs.

“The dynamics of football administration is changing almost on a minute basis and it behooves on the managers to be abreast with the development in order to function effectively.

“The NWFL leadership has proven once again that they consider the club managers as critical and invaluable stakeholders in the running of the league.

“I want to passionately encourage fellow club managers to see to it that we implement to the latter all the invaluable knowledge we received at the seminar to the smooth running of our respective clubs.

“We thank the NWFL leadership and assure that we will always be there for them to continuously proffer workable solutions that will make the domestic league the best among its contemporaries,” said NWFL Club Owners’ number one citizen.

The NWFL club managers’ seminar came exactly five days to the kickoff of the second stanza of the 2021/2022 NWFL Premiership on Wednesday, February 23.

It is the brainchild of the Aisha Falode-led NWFL and one of the several change agents to empower the human actors, boost and enrich the league.
