BAT/Shettima Mandate: Ado Bayero Gives Royal Blessings, Bags NCISGBS ‘Pillar Of Democracy’ Award

The Emir of Kano, His Eminence, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero (CFR) has given his royal blessing to the aspirations of the Senators Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima towards recording victory in the forthcoming Presidential elections scheduled for next month.

The respected royal father also received an award of ‘Pillar of Democracy In Nigeria’ when the National Officers of the National Coalition of Independent Support Groups for BAT and Shettima paid a courtesy visit to his Kofar Kudu Palace, Kano, Kano State on Tuesday 17th January 2023.

The first-class traditional ruler, who expressed his delight to host the energetic team of NCISGBS in his palace according to the Secretary of the Coalition Group, ‘Wale Fasade, described Tinubu as a person who has a long pedigree of respect for traditional institutions.

The Emir appealed to politicians to work towards strengthening national unity throughout their electioneering campaigns for the general elections in 2023 while commending the peaceful disposition of the National Coalition of Independent Support Groups for BAT and Shettima led by Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi.

The royal father was conferred with an award of ‘Pillar of Democracy in Nigeria’ and issued with the maiden edition of the Handbook of the National Coalition containing some activities and composition of the group alongside many members of the national executives of the Coalition Group.

This event followed the Train-the-trainers programme on electoral practices held in Lokola, the confluence State on Saturday, the 14th January 2023 where members of the Coalition were trained on the step by step actions expected of the electorates all in their bid to have all our followers and members to vote right.
