Battle of The Ages Boxing Contest series 14.0 Take Centre Stage On Saturday

Boxing fans in Lagos State will on Saturday, October, 26, 2026 witness exciting round of boxing bouts as De Lads Boxing Promotions stages series 14.0 of Battle of Ages contest.

Tosin Osaigbovo known as Sojar Boy meeting Lateef ‘Captain’ Azeez in a national Lightweight context.
There will also be an international ten rounds WBA Africa lightweight title fight between Nigerian Idowu Rasheed and Ghanian Mawuli Folivi.
Other fights slated for the day are; eight rounds national lightweight challenge between Ahmed Lawal ( Small Tyson) and Golden Boy Sodiq Oyakojo just as Saheed Abdullai will square up against Abdul- Afeez Oshoba in an eight rounds national welterweight challenge contest.
On the same card, Uzochukwu Remy Cadet will face Omejeh Chimaobi in a six rounds heavyweight challenge with Damilare Arowolo meeting Azeem Bakare in a ten rounds middleweight challenge fight.
Also Baby Face Rilwan Babatunde will square up against Michael Kosisochukwu Ani in an eight rounds national super welterweight challenge context.
The highlight of the night will be a celebrity fight between professional boxer, Viper and body builder, Kelvin Power aimed at bringing entertainment to the boxing show.
Speaking on tomorrow’s event, promoter of the fight and President of De Lads Boxing Promotions Alhaji Wasiu Waheed Alabi, promised fans that they will be treated to the best of boxing action even as he assured of adequate security at the fight venue.
“We’re ready to go and all the boxers are in high fighting spirit to entertain the fans and give them the best of boxing action.
“I want to appeal to all boxing fans to troop out in their numbers and be part of the boxing extravaganza. We have also put in place adequate security at the venue and I can assure you, there will be no dull moment on Saturday”, he stated.
Also speaking, Secretary General of Nigeria Boxing Board of Control ( NBB of C), Remi Aboderin while commending the promoter for what he’s doing in professional boxing in the country, noted that the board will continue to create an enabling environment for professional boxing to grow.
“I want to commend Alhaji Wasiu Waheed Alabi for what he’s doing in boxing promotion in the country and we as the sanctioning body will continue to work closely with him and other promoters to move the game forward”, he assured.
All the fights are sanctioned by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBB of C)
