PANASA announces change of venue for African Games scrabble event

The Pan African Scrabble Association (PANASA) has announced that the African Games Scrabble event will now take place at the Alisa Hotel, North Ridge, Accra, Ghana.

The championship is scheduled to be held between March 15th – 17th, 2024. The country disciplines and side events will both take place at the Alisa Hotel.
According to a statement by the continental body made available to newstap.com.ng, the Alisa Hotel offers upgraded facilities and amenities compared to the initial venue, noting that the change will enhance the overall experience for all participants and guests.

Furthermore, the statement assured all teams and players who had previously reached out to PANASA regarding accommodation arrangements that their requests are being addressed; saying that the price for accommodation will remain unchanged as they’re finalizing arrangements to ensure comfort of athletes during their stay.

“As you prepare for your journey to Ghana, we wish you all safe travels and look forward to welcoming you to Accra for an exciting and competitive event. For any inquiries or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the PANASA Secretariat”, the statement concluded.
