Club president impressed with Go Round FC form

 Go Round FC president, Charity Obuah is very impressed at the run of her club in the four week old Nigeria National League, NNL.

Go Round FC have drawn away at Sporting Lagos, then won away at Cynosure FC before winning at home to Nnewi United on Match Day. They had previously drawn 0-0 against Ijebu United at home on Match Day 2.

Obuah speaking after the Match Day 4 win against Nnewi United praised the boys for keeping to the agreement they had in the preseason.

“I remember telling you all in pre-season to keep your heads up, win your games and we will keep to our own part of the bargain which be to do more than provide everything you need and more to ensure that you take the team back to the top.

“I am happy with your performance so far, even though the league is just four match days old,” Charity Obuah said.

With this, she said her husband, and financier of the club, Felix Obuah will come in and begin to treat the boys like the kings they are, as long as they maintain their fine form.

“It is our agreement to provide all the players need in terms of welfare and other emoluments and their results have told us we cannot relent in it. Welfare and other emoluments is always a given but the players know how we splash them with incentives anytime they do the extraordinary. And that is the point we are in right now.”
