2023: On Peter Obi I stand -Edwin Clark

Just like former President Olusegun Obasanjo, highly respected elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, has thrown his weight behind Peter Obi ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Chief Clark announced his position at a news briefing in Abuja on Tuesday basing his endorsement of Obi, who is the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party on traits he believes are critical to leading the country.

Explaining further, he cited honesty, trust and transparency, all of which he said Obi displayed when he was governor of Anambra State.

Clark expressed confidence that Obi would tackle the issues of the injustices and environmental degradation in the Niger Delta region if elected as President.

It is not yet clear if the PDP and APC would also dismiss Clark’s endorsement as worthless just as both parties that have failed the country did when Obi was endorsed by OBJ.
