Ekpo wants Lagos All Stars on top as 12th veterans tournament gets tougher

Celebrated Nigerian ex-international, Friday Ekpo, has declared that his dream is to see the Lagos All Stars team emerge champions of the 2023 All Stars Veterans Tournament going on at the Eagle Club, the home of the Lagos All Stars Association.
The former Shell of Gabon FC star said the Lagos team is working very hard to achieve success, as the standard of the competition is growing on a daily basis.
Going into Day Two of the tournament Abia tops with 4 points, and +2 goals. Lagos follows closely with 3 points after dropping a game against Anambra All Stars.
In today’s games, Anambra battle Abia at 8a.m, Oyo meets Bauchi at 9am. Lagos face Abia in a must win game at 11am with Anambra taking on Bauchi and Lagos facing Oyo in the last group game.
The third place match and the grand finale will be played on Saturday, September 9 at the Eagle Club football pitch.
