NAFED President Commends Chief Of Army Staff on Tizocata

President of Nigeria Archery Federation, His Royal Highness, Mohammed Baba Abdullahi has commended the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Waidi Shaibu, for allowing NAFED to host the just concluded Tizocata International Archery Championship at the Nigeria Army Conference Centre and Suits ( NACCAS ), located in Asokoro, Abuja.

He said the NACCAS facilities did not only give the championship the required International standard but showed the world that Nigeria has what it takes to host not only Africa but the world when it comes to Archery.

Like Oliver Twist will always do, Mohammed pleaded that Tizocata hosting should not be a one-off championship hosting at the venue, but an opener for more Archery Competitions to be staged at the centre.

Mohammed did not stop expressing his profound gratitude to the Chief host, Lt General Waidi Shaibu for his magnanimity.

“Now that the Nigerian Army has established a permanent venue for Archery in Abuja, we in NAFED Executive Board members will no longer be scratching our heads searching for venues to host our competitions. Our duty henceforth is to be praying for more competitions.

“The Nigeria Armed Forces have been showing much interest in Archery sport activities and NAFED, will continue to collaborate with them to ensure that the partnership is sustained.”

The Vice President, Ambassador Augustine Chigbolu on his part, thanked the Chief of Army Staff , Lt General Waidi Shaibu, whom he described as an Archery friend indeed.
And as the Chief marketer of Nigeria Archery, Ambassador Chigbolu said he will soon come back to knock on the doors of the Chief of Army Staff like Oliver Twist will do, and pleaded that he keeps his arms wide open to receive his team
