CAF Confederation Cup: Enyimba draw Horoya of Guinea, beat MFM in Lagos

Enyimba would in the quarter final of the CAF Confederation Cup face Guinean side, Horoya with the first leg to be decided in Aba early next month.
In the other pairings, Hossania would face Libyan side Al Nasr, while Pyramids of Egypt slugs it out with Zanaco of Zambia. Al Masry of Egypt and RS Berkane of Morocco are paired in the last quarter final game.
Enyimba had last weekend romped into the last eight in grand style after beating Ivorian side San Pedro 5-2 away in Abdijan.
Enyimba finished the group stage as runners up behind Moroccan side Hossania Agadir.
Enyimba gaffer, Fatai Osho had after the win in Abdijan said his target is to go all the way in the competition now that his side has found its rhythm.
Meanwhile the Aba giants this evening in Lagos secured another away win this time in the domestic league. Enyimba defeated MFM by a lone goal at the Agege Soccer Temple courtesy of Bashir Abdulrahman’s 73rd minute strike. Enyimba had before today’s win list two consecutive NPFL games to Heartland and FC Ifeanyiubah.
