Chelsea’s woes continued Saturday night in London as they bowed 0-1 to Leicester in the FA Cup final.
For Leicester and their Nigerian duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi it was a historic night. Leicester winning it for the first time while the Nigerian duo joined the exclusive club of Nigerian FA Cup winners.
Youri Tieleman did the magic for Leicester with his superb strike midway in the second half.
The encounter was one which was watched by 6000 fans as England test runs the return of fans to stadiums.
For Chelsea, the defeat is another demoralizer as they head into the UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City on May 29 in Porto, Portugal. Chelsea it is recalled also lost the trophy in the final against Arsenal by the same 1-0 margin last term.
Leicester may inflict more pains on Chelsea when they meet again on Tuesday in the EPL.
A victory for Leicester could see Chelsea not finishing in the top four to be able to play Champions League football next season.
