Community Initiative: Spires and IHS Schools Outreach Set For Ikeja and Badagry

The Spires and IHS Outreach train made a stop at the Army Children High School in Epe as part of it ongoing support for Lagos schools.

The initiative is aimed to empower pupils on professional career choices, healthy lifestyles, and the significance of education for an overall successful sporting career.

The outreach designed to cover the 5 divisions of Lagos began with a visit to Dolphin High School Lagos Island. The Majidun Senior Grammar school Ikorodu was the next point of call before a long trip to reach the pupils of Army Children High School in Epe on Friday.

Dozens of notebooks, school bags, water bottles, footballs, and other materials were presented to the respective schools by the organizers.

The next stop for the widely applauded empowerment program is the Ikeja
Dairy Farm Senior Secondary school Sango-Agege, on Tuesday 6th October, before a final stop at in Badagry at the Otto Awori Senior Secondary school Ijanikin.

The initiator of the program Dr. Bankole Allibay said Spires collaboration with telecommunications infrastructure giant (IHS) is propelled to prepare the younger generation for a more productive career part.

In his words: This is our own way giving back and saying thank you to the society that made us, the materials we have donated as well as the career talks by our resource persons will surely impact the pupils for a productive trajectory beyond their secondary education”. Allibay added.

The school outreach is part of activities leading to commencement of the 2026 Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament slated for October 27th Kick-off.
