US 2020 election: Trump paints White House red with lies

President Donald Trump continued Thursday to churn out unsubstantiated claim that he won the US 2020 election, even as Joe Biden’s chances of victory continued to brighten.
Trump at a press conference held at White House claimed that he won the election by what he called legal votes.
In his words…”If you count the legal votes, I easily win.”
Trump at the press briefing further allegedly, albeit, baselessly that local elections officials had accepted ballots after Election Day and were padding the stats for his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden.
Mr Trump also blamed the media for his imminent defeat.
Daily Independent of London in its report pointed out that Trumps campaign provided no evidence of rigging in the election.
The influential newspaper in its report stated…”The Trump campaign has provided no evidence to their baseless claims that the votes coming in from absentee ballots were cast fraudulently. States like Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania have taken longer to call because of absentee ballots, but that is just because it takes workers longer to count those votes, not because of “voter fraud”.
Since absentee ballots take longer to count over in-person ballots, Mr Trump looked like he held a strong lead in states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia. But Americans who voted by mail tend to sway towards Democratic candidate Joe Biden, swinging those states back towards the candidate as they come in. Mr Trump’s lead has significantly diminished in Pennsylvania and Georgia on Thursday as more votes come in. Victory for Mr Biden in Georgia – if his projected win in Arizona holds – or in Pennsylvania would propel him into the White House.”
While Trump was busy blowing his trumpet of lies at the White House press briefing, his opponent Biden told the media that he feels good about where things stand.
His words: “We continue to feel very good about where things stand. We have no doubt that when the count is finished, Senator Harris and I will be declared the winners.”
