Lagos bubbles for Imo Day 2022

All is set for this year’s Imo Day which would be held on Saturday at the Police College, Ikeja.
President of Imo State Towns Development Association (ISTDAL) Onwa Chris Ekeocha whose body is putting together the event disclosed yesterday that all arrangements have been put in place for a successful show.
Ekeocha said it would be a day in which all affiliated Imo autonomous communities would showcase their culture.
“It is going to be a colorful carnival with the over 300 autonomous communities featuring.”
Ekeocha stressed that Imo state governor Hope Uzodimma would lead the guests expected to grace the event.
“We are expecting the state’s number one citizen, Hope Uzodimma, captains of industry from Imo state and first class traditional rulers. It is going to be a special day for Imo indigenes in Lagos,” Ekeocha said.
