Edo bigwigs grace Solomon Ilaboya’s wedding in Lagos

By George Aluo

It was a glorious day in Lagos yesterday (Tuesday) when Frank Ilaboya’s son Solomon Ilaboya wedded his sweetheart Atinuke at a ceremony that attracted top government officials from Edo state.

The three in one ceremony was one in which the young couple did their traditional, church wedding and reception at an Event Centre in the Oregun axis of Lagos.

The event was graced by the Edo State deputy governor Rt. Hon Philip Shaibu who was represented by the Commissioner for youth Hon Lawani and several Edo LGA chairmen.

Speaking at the event, Hon Lawani admonished the couple to live in peace and to keep loving each other, even as he charged Solomon to always emulate his father who is humble to a fault.

“If you come to Edo State, unless you are told that Frank is a local government chief executive (Owan West) you won’t know because he is a very humble person. Solomon, I know you and your siblings have already started doing well for your Dad…the evidence I have seen right there at home in Owan West. I m impressed, remain humble like your Dad and I wish you and your wife God’s abundant blessings,” Lawani said.

A very happy Frank Ilaboya while giving God all the glory said…”Honestly, me and my wife can not thank God enough…that we have celebrated three weddings of our kids back to back in the last couple of years at this age is awesome. It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. To God and God alone be the glory.

It would be noted that members of the Nigerian Football Supporters Club (NFSC) led by chairman Rev Samuel Ikpea, added color to the wedding ceremony.
