Egbe shines in Slovakia, ready for Eagles

Slovakia based Nigerian defender, Timi Atiki Egbe has expressed joy over his emergence as the best central defender in the Slovakia domestic league.
Egbe emerged Best central defender of the year in a vote decided by fans.
The former Bayelsa United defence strongman said the honor would propel him to take his game to greater heights, even as he added that he is ready to lace boots for Nigeria.
“I say a big thank you to the fans who voted me as the best central defender of the year. I cherish this honor and it would motivate me in my career. I am also ready to play for my country if called upon,” Egbe said.
The Egbe family is also celebrating the exploits of their son.
Ebi Egbe, the Chief Executive Officer of stadium construction outfit, Monimichelle said the lad would go places.
“Timi is young, talented and disciplined. We are happy with the progress he is making,” Ebi Egbe said.
