Ibadan City Basketball League enters week three as Showtyme, Spartans go to war

Three games will be decided on Match Day 3 of the Ibadan City Basketball League (ICBL) today (Saturday) at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba and at the University of Ibadan Basketball Court.
TTP Basketball Club that lost its first game of the ICBL to Showtyme will meet Egbeda LG at the University of Ibadan Basketball Court by 10am. Egbeda LG won their opening match of the City League.
The encounter will be followed by the clash between Unibadan Warriors and Liberty Spears at the same venue.
At the Lekan Salami Sports Complex in Adamasingba, League leader Showtyme will be seeking to maintain their unbeaten run when they battle Spartans by 10am today.
Spartans have suffered back to back defeats, the last was in the hands of Egbeda LG 48-41 points. They also went down to The Polytechnic 41-32 points on Match Day 1.
Nine clubs within the city of Ibadan are participating in the League put together by Oyo State Basketball Association (OSSA) and the competition will run for ten weeks.
