Ex- Enyimba, Iwuanyanwu Nationale player, Chinonso Agbo to be buried on Friday
The processes leading to the interment of former Iwuanyanwu Nationale, Enyimba of Aba and Enugu Rangers star, Chinonso Solomon Agbo will begin this Thursday, March 21st at Umuewoukwu Amauzam Obeagu Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area, Enugu State.
Solomon Agbo who also had stints in France died on February 19th, 2024 in Abuja after a brief illness. He was aged 45 years.
In a statement signed by Uche Agbo, the elder brother of the deceased, and also a notable footballer for Iwuanyanwu Nationale and Enyimba during his playing days, indicates that there would be service of songs at Umuewoukwu Amauzam Obeagu Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area, Enugu State on Thursday March 21st by 7pm.
While the funeral service holds on Friday, March 22nd as from 11am at St. John’s Anglican Church, Obeagu, Awkunanaw before the interment immediately after the funeral service.
Meanwhile, the General Manager of Heartland FC, Promise Nwachukwu has described the death of Chinonso Solomon Agbo as a sad loss and pray to God to grant him eternal rest.
“I will say his death was a sad development because he was still very young and very vibrant. We will miss him,” Nwachukwu said.
