It was an atmosphere of exhilaration on Tuesday as pupils of Dairy Farm Senior Secondary school Sango-Agege Ikeja welcome the outreach train of Spires Media and IHS.
The community initiative, which has since visited schools in Lagos Island, Ikorodu, and Epe divisions, held yet another impactful session with hundreds of students as the outreach made a stop in Ikeja
On air personality, Chukwudi Ezugwu engaged the pupils on professional career choices and the place of education in achieving a successful life. The popular host of The Honest Bunch Podcast also highlights the dangers of drug abuse and other social vices.
Ezugwu praised the student for their dedication to learning as he urged them to remain focused despite the numerous distractions.
“This is your time and whatever you make of it will greatly determine the quality of life you will live many years from now, among you are the best brains in world in waiting for across all sectors, so endeavor to achieve the best of your potential”. Chukwudi said.
The vice principal of the school Mrs. Ugunbewon Bety commended Spires and IHS for the initiative, which she said will greatly impact the pupils in their drive for academic and career development.
“This event will significantly improve the orientation of our pupils, we are grateful to the organizers for coming to our school with such initiative.”
Telecommunications infrastructure giant (IHS) presented dozens of notebooks, school bags, water bottles, footballs, and other materials to the respective schools.
