FC Midtjylland Honours FC Ebedei President Barrister Churchill Oliseh

Barrister Churchill Oliseh’s visit to the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark, was more than just a routine appearance.

The FC Ebedei President received an emotional honour, with chants and tributes from FC Midtjylland and its fans before their UEFA Europa League qualification on Thursday against Beşiktaş.

For 25 years, FC Ebedei has been a key partner to FC Midtjylland, nurturing emerging talents for careers in Europe.

Before kickoff, Churchill, along with his wife, who’s the vice-president of the club, his sons Fredrick Oliseh, the General Manager and Head of Youth Development, Gabriel and Stefan, received a warm welcome and a standing ovation as the Matchday Announcer highlighted his contributions.

The Olisehs then approached the home supporters’ side of the stadium, visibly pleased and thanking the crowd, to which the crowd responded with further applause.

Churchill expressed his emotional connection, stating, “This is a very emotional evening for my family and FC Ebedei. We truly appreciate the honour and recognition from FC Midtjylland.

“It’s been an honour to be their strategic partner for nearly 25 years, developing Nigeria’s best football talents. I am proud of everything we’ve achieved together, including winning their first-ever Superliga with our cooperation graduates”

Recall, FC Ebedei are on a three-month training tour in Europe. Churchill Oliseh has contributed players to every senior Nigeria national team’s laurel since 1995 to date.

FC Ebedei, in the last few decades, remains the largest contributor of players to our Senior Nigeria national team, the Super Eagles.
