The J’Tigers emphatically crushed Benin Republic 96-35, yesterday in the ongoing FIBA U-18 Afrobasket Zone 3 Qualifiers ongoing in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
The young Nigerian basketball boys who were selected after exhaustive selection process showed strong intent all through the four quarters of the game.
Therefore, reaffirming the unflinching commitment of Nigeria Basketball Federation to the continued development of the game in Nigeria, with more emphasis and focus on the development of grassroots basketball.
Speaking after yesterday’s emphatic win, NBBF President Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida, congratulated the lads for the well-deserved victory, which he attributed to the all-hands-on-the decks attitudes of all members of the NBBF board.
Kida, further reiterates that the NBBF, shall continue to lubricate the fan belts of the talents production factories of the game in Nigeria, with a larger view for Nigeria improving on its growing global status in the game.
