FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup: Busari lists Harmony, Adegbuyi, 19 others for Morocco

Head Coach Akeem Busari has selected his list of 21 players to fly Nigeria’s flag at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup finals, which will take place in Morocco, 17th October – 8th October.

The list includes team captain Harmony Chidi, defenders Elizabeth Adesuyi and Esther Stephen, mifielders Mary Dustan and Favour Nkwocha, and forwards Tosin Rafiu, Queen Joseph, Precious Oscar and Oluwakemi Adegbuyi.

The team of players and officials will depart the shores of Nigeria for Morocco on Wednesday, 7th October.

2022 FIFA World Cup bronze medallists Nigeria, drawn in group B, will play their first match of the competition against Poland on 17th October, before further group phase matches against Puerto Rico and North Korea on 20th and 23rd October respectively.
